I have been to North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. I have yet to visit Africa, Australia, or Antartica. I have had stop overs in Quater and the UAE as I was flying to Asia. I am counting those stops here. Also are those countries classified as Africa, Asia, or Europe. I say Africa. Counting it that way i have not yet visited Australia or Antartica as of yet, but 4(or 5) of 7 down!

I have also noticed I have seen mostly W. Europe insead of Eastern Europe. I would like to visit Russia, China, Australia, and S. Africa at some point.

I have been everywhere in the US with the exception of West Virginia. Thus 49/50! Some of thoise trips were driving through, others were actually visiting. For whatever reason I have not seen West Virginia. I have been to Virginia numerous times(and easily could have gone then). I have also been to Ohio a couple of times and Delaware several times. Why I didnt go to West Virginia, I am not sure, but at some point I probably will.

How about you? Where have you gone? Where do you want to go? Weigh in!

Hey John, Maybe you Should Shut your Trap!

So it is near election day and John Kerry makes an ass out of himself yet again. Whether this is built up rage for not actually going allout against Bush in 2004(which most people would agree he half assed his campaign), he is potentially shooting his own party in the foot. John Kerry a Vietnam vet has now made yet another comment about the military and the troops.

For those of you who do not remember when Kerry returned from Vietnam he threw many of his soldiers under the bus and declared many of their actions to be criminal. In fact he even claimed that he heard stories of "rape, cutting off ears, cutting off heads," of Vietnamese citizens and rampaging across Vietnam "[razing] villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan." He further insinuated that the acts were "not isolated incidents but crimes committed on a day-to-day basis with the full awareness of officers at all levels of command."

From the way that kerry tells it you would picture the US army as a bunch of forhead sloping cavemen, dragging their knuckles as they rape and terroize the Vietnamaise. While I will acknowledge that there were likely some rapes or beheadings, to claim that these were the orders of the highest commanders is absurd.

Kerry also for got to mention that Vietnam was a war where you could not tell who your enemy was. This was not a war where the US fought an army but a people. Children with explosives strapped to themselves would run into US troops. A vietnamise widow might have concelaed a bomb in the steps leading to her garden. In short, women and children. This could have been the face of a US soldier's assailant. See the little girl with the umbrella? During the Vietnam war it was quite possible she was carrying an assault rifle or a bomb on her.

Fast forward to 2006 and Kerry is back at it. On october 26, 2006 Kerry spoke to an audience composed mainly of college students. "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq." Kerry claimed it to be a "joke" but the joke might be on him.

Currently the democrats have an excellent oppertunity to retake the House and Senate. Currently projections claim that the Democrats will take the House by about 5-6 seats and will fall short of the senate by 2-3 seats. It is possible that this Kerry gaffe will cost the Dems the House and the senate. If it does, dems will have to ask themselves, is John Kerry trying to help John kerry and the democrats. Regardless, the Dems right now must be pissed as the focus now is on Kerry and not on Bush. I am sure some have even told him, "Hey John, Maybe you Should Shut your Trap!"

Oh, and just becuase I can, I added a bunch of goofy Kerry pictures.
